CALL FOR SUBMISSION
Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP) is the professional body of spatial planners in Bangladesh. The Journal of Bangladesh Institute of Planners is double-blind, peer-reviewed and is published both online (open access) and in print version. Authors do not pay any publication fee or any other charges.
BIP invites all academics, researchers, and practitioners in the field of planning and development to submit papers for publication in the Journal of Bangladesh Institute of Planners. The theme of papers must be relevant to theoretical or practical issues of spatial planning and may be related, but not limited, to the following fields:
● Urban/city/town planning
● Regional planning
● Rural planning
● Urban planning and Public Health
● Housing
● Urban informality and slum upgrading
● District/neighbourhood/area/site planning
● Infrastructure/transport planning
● Spatial data analyses
● Socio-economic analyses of planning aspects
● Environmental planning and disaster management
● Resilient City
● Nature-Based Solution (NBS)
● Food, energy and urban system
● Planning of public spaces
● Project planning and development management
● Planning for special groups and big events
● Planning theory
● Governance and planning policy
Also please note that the journal publishes commentary and/or critique on contemporary planning and development issues at home and abroad.
